Our client is looking for their first legal hire, the successful Corporate Lawyer is required to head up the legal services division in a well known local accountancy and consultancy firm.

Description

• Provide a wide range of corporate legal advice to a diverse clientele
• Draft and negotiate a range of corporate contracts.
• Provide corporate advice including M&A, joint ventures, insolvency and restructuring.
• Advise on corporate governance and regulatory compliance
• Liaise with other departments to provide a holistic service to clients
• Keep up-to-date with changes in corporate law
• No business development is required in this role as you will be providing advice to already known clients.
• There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to grow the legal services function

Profile

A successful Corporate Lawyer should have:

• A relevant legal qualification
• Excellent knowledge of corporate law
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A client-focused approach and strong business acumen
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

Job Offer
