About the role:

With a Sales Coordinator role at HORI, you will play a pivotal role in handling the day-to-day operation of key B2B accounts. As part of the multilingual commercial team covering all of Europe, the Middle East and South Africa, you will be responsible for participating in the sales and development strategies for the region to which you are assigned. Internal communication is a key feature of the role, and you will regularly report strategic updates to our branches in Japan and the US. You will have the opportunity to participate in new product proposals based on your deepening knowledge of the gaming market in your region, as well as the chance to get actively involved in upcoming company expansion projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts regular sales meetings with Retailers and Distributors in the EU and elsewhere.
  • Prepares Ad-hoc Commercial Analysis as per business needs and targets.
  • Participates in Marketing activities - conducting sales analysis, proposing campaigns, connecting with social media
  • Reports on account activity to headquarters in Japan, the USA
  • Assists with licensing agreements (Sales activities to hardware and software makers
  • Translates product information from Japanese or English into your European language, for packaging, manuals, website information
  • Accompanies senior management on trips and interprets if necessary.
  • Manages sales contracts, including negotiation and drafting
  • Monitors and relays to the team relevant news in the gaming peripheral industry.
  • Monitors the financial health of their clients and handles overdue invoices.
  • Conducts sales forecasting activities.
  • Manages day to day activities pro-actively.
  • Performs other sales-related duties for worldwide markets and responsibilities as may potentially be assigned from time to time.
  • Troubleshooting problems, answers questions from sellers and end-users, and handles complaints.
  • Visits physical stores along with clients in the UK and abroad to check on the presentation and visibility of products

Mandatory Skill:

Business level skill in Italian, Spanish or German, along with English and Japanese.

Important Attributes:

  • Organisational skills
  • Analytical mindset for sales data
  • Proactive nature, able to self-manage priorities whilst consulting with managers.
  • Ability to get along with people from a wide-range of backgrounds.
  • Experience in a Japanese corporate environment is appreciated but not necessary
  • Previous experience in an office role is highly appreciated but not necessary

  • The working days are from Monday to Friday
  • This role is office-based (SW18)
