About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Pontypridd. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Inspire and challenge students to develop a love for scientific inquiry.
Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment.
Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated teaching strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science department's curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Participate in parents' evenings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in a Science-related subject.
Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
Strong classroom management skills and a passion for student development.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
