To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Director (Direct Distribution) to come and join our team. This is a national role with regular travel requirements across our UK sites.
As our Sales Director (Direct Distribution), you will:
• Provide the Direct Distribution team with regular feedback and development opportunities
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation, rewarding and recognising the contribution of others
• Establish clear, challenging and achievable objectives
• Deliver sales strategy - volume and price growth targets within this profitable sector
• Proactively managing customers and our dedicated Sales team
• Create long-term personal relationships with senior key customers
In order to be successful in this role, ideally we would like you to be/have:
• Experience presenting sector performance whilst demonstrating a clear understanding of results and subsequent actions
• Ability to implement strategic sales and marketing plans that align with the wider business objectives
• Ability to negotiate trading packages, rebates and pricing at the highest level
• Drive to forge positive long-lasting relationships with key clients to understand their business needs and objectives
• Experience to act as credible business representative at major industry / customer events
• An organised approach, with meticulous attention to detail
• Well-rounded interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to prioritise
• Experience of using technology e.g. CRM to drive sales growth and industry leading customer service
• Delivering results through managing a field based sales team
