Semi-Senior Practice Accountant

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Salary: £30k - £35k + Excellent Benefits

The Role:

As a Practice Accountant, you will be providing client-focused accounting services with direct client interaction and varied responsibilities.

Duties:

Act as the primary client contact, delivering high-quality accounting services.
Prepare accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in VAT, corporation tax, and personal tax returns.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and prepare management accounts.
Manage payroll processes and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
ACCA part or fully qualified.
Knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Experience in a client-facing role is essential.
