This full-time position offers a generous salary of £40,300 per annum, with a two-shift system, encompassing Days and Afters.

This is a permanent role, that would suit a Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance manager / Shift Leader / Maintenance Leader with experience of working in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be entrusted with the crucial task of coordinating and prioritising the workloads of a skilled team, including apprentices. The role demands a proactive individual who thrives on motivating others to exceed departmental goals and swiftly resolving any emergent issues.

Administrative acumen is equally important, as the role includes maintaining the Time & Attendance system and conducting performance reviews, ensuring the smooth operation of the maintenance function.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Proficiency in IT, with an ONC in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- A solid foundation in Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering, ideally demonstrated through completion of an apprenticeship.
- A deep understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, vital for the upkeep of complex equipment.
- Proven experience in contractor management and supervision, showcasing leadership capabilities.
- Desirable knowledge of electrical systems and PLCs, enhancing the ability to manage a broad range of maintenance activities.
- Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing machinery processes, ensuring a comprehensive approach to equipment maintenance.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively for both oneself and the team.
