Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse

Hourly Rate: £22.50

37.5 hours per week

Our client is looking an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse with a strong background in clinical leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at a specialist service dedicated to supporting individuals with epilepsy and complex needs, including dementia, physical and learning disabilities, brain injury, and autism. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you'll provide critical leadership, ensuring that care is person-centred and tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Requirements for the role:

• Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin
• Leadership Background: Proven experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse in a care home or similar setting
• Specialised Expertise: Skilled in supporting individuals with epilepsy, learning disabilities and managing behaviours that may challenge, with a commitment to compassionate care

What your day will look like:

• Clinical Leadership: Inspire and support the nursing team to maintain the highest standards of care across all services, embodying professionalism and compassion in every aspect of care.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee and monitor clinical outcomes, collaborating closely with the multi-disciplinary team, including neurologists, to ensure timely actions that enhance quality care.
• Staff Empowerment: Guide and mentor, the team through observation and feedback, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented work environment.
• Person-Centred Care: Develop individualised care plans that honour each person's needs and potential, creating an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere.
