Vacancy: Credit Controller

Salary: £26,000

Location: Newton-Le-Willows

Our client based in Newton-Le-Willows is currently on the hunt for a credit controller to join the business. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work in a team, working collectively to acheive monthly KPI's and ensure the ledger is kept to a minimum.

Main Duties:

* Control and manage assigned customer accounts, ensuring Customer payments are received in a timely manner.

* Issue Customer statements and invoices via email

* Make and receive customer telephone calls minimum 20 outbound calls per day

* Reply to Customer emails.

* Assist in the resolution of customer queries to eliminate payment delays.

* Reporting on debtors' status / overdue accounts

* Maintaining accurate records including Cashflow / Dispute Reports

* Consult with other Centres to deliver a best-in-class service to Customers.

* Assist with general admin duties within department.

* Observe and comply with all company policies and procedures

Knowledge / Skills:

* Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills

* Positive, initiative-taking attitude to collections

* Persistence and determination

* Analytical skills and attention to detail

* Ability to work on own initiative to prioritise workload.

* A team player

* PC literate with experience using SAGE and Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
