Travel across the UK & Europe to automate production lines as a PLC Automation Technician.
 
This company designs and assembles filling and packaging lines for aerosols across various industries, such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. They offer a range of benefits including bonuses, private healthcare, life cover and so forth.
 
You will be responsible for developing and supporting various products based on PLC systems across the entire project lifecycle.
 
About the Role:

Design PLC based electrical control systems from design specifications.
Configure Remote I/O, servo motor and inverter drives.
Integrate ancillary equipment into the production lines such as vision systems etc.
Commission, support, and service work at customers' sites (UK & Europe). 
About You:

Understanding of electrical drawings, control panel specification/design, PLC programming, touchscreens, and controls along with an understanding of vision and SCADA systems.
Ability to work with electricians and panel builders to design and build the control system, then program and commission the machines at our factory and on site.
Experience of the pharma industry and/or explosive atmosphere regulations is desirable.
