Family Solicitor (5y PQE)

Location: Blackburn

A Legal 500 firm in the North West is looking for an experienced and Family Law Accredited Solicitor to join the team and handle a variety of privately funded divorce, financial and children matters, as well as advocacy and Legal Aid matters.

Responsibilities

• Managing Family files and progressing client work efficiently whilst ensuring confidentiality and the security of documents
• Conducting advocacy and working legal aid matters, managing your own caseload of corporate and private clients
• Achieving billing and time recording targets
• Supporting team members and promoting the firm's values within your work
• Support the firm with business development activities

Skills and Experience

• Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE experience in Family, and Family Law Accredited by the SRA
• Solid track record of meeting and exceeding targets
• Good relationship management skills
• Strong attention to detail, organisation skills and able to prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
