Job Duties:
- Lead and manage projects and consulting initiatives within the mining sector.
- Develop and implement project management frameworks tailored to mining operations.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies using industry best practices.
- Conduct project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project performance, prepare progress reports, and communicate with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to align project goals with organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilize project management tools (such as MS Project) for scheduling and reporting.

- Must be able to schedule in MS Project (Primavera P6 bonus)
Education:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma
Experience:
Minimum 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in managing projects in the mining industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Understanding of mining industry practises and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Master's degree in Project Management or related field
