ROLE - Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION - St Albans
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £35,000 to £40,000 per annum depending on experience

I am working with a growing company in St Albans who are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. 

Ideally, we would like you to:

Be skilled in using 2D and 3D CAD software - Solidworks
5 Years experience in Product/Mechanical Design Engineering
Be able to create models / prototypes
Be technically minded
Experience in Lighting design
Have a product design/ engineering related degree
Have experience designing products/ projects from concept to completion
Strong Design for Manufacture skillsResponsibilities:

Develop your ideas from concept to production.
Sketch ideas and develop concepts.
Create models/prototypes.
Do market research, visit clients and listen to their feedback.
Use all manufacturing processes.
View and review tooling trials - potential for overseas travel.
