About Our Client:

OPR are working with a dynamic and growing company specializing in building maintenance, roofing and basic building works. Our clients projects range from residential roofing works, chimney and wall reinstatements to small building extension projects, and they pride themselves on delivering high-quality results. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team and help us continue to exceed our clients' expectations.

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our projects. The Projject Managers primary responsibilities will include coordinating the ordering of stock and materials, organising labour, vetting subcontractors, and finalizing project costs. Project Manager will work closely with our surveying team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate the procurement of materials and supplies needed for roofing and building projects.

* Organize and schedule labour, ensuring that all workers and subcontractors are efficiently managed.

* Vet and select reliable subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.

* Oversee project budgets and finalise costs, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.

* Monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, and implement corrective measures as needed.

* Maintain clear and open communication with clients, suppliers, and team members.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the building industry, preferably with a focus on roofing and basic building works.

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and health and safety regulations.

* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

* Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
