Branch Assistant/ Yard Operative - Cambridge

Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm (Hours may vary)
£26K - 22 days holiday + Bank holidays
4X salary - Death in service
Around £3K bonus if targets are hit
ASAP start - Possible temp to perm option

Job Description

Together with our client we are actively looking to appoint a Branch/Yard Assistant to join a friendly team. If you are a flexible individual who enjoys a small team environment, likes being outdoors and can provide excellent customer service, this may be the perfect fit for you!

Your job - This role involves:

Processing and picking customer orders accurately
Loading and unloading of vehicles using a fork lift (Desirable)
Providing customers with product and service information, including serving on the trade counter when required
Keeping a safe, organised and professional looking yard
General warehouse duties

Job Requirements

Excellent customer service skills
Literacy & Numeracy
An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
Warehouse/yard experience
A good knowledge of computers
Fork Lift licence (desirable - Although my client would be willing to put you through training)
