Our client seeks a highly experienced Quality Manager to maintain and manage the company's quality, health & safety, and environmental systems. Reporting to the Engineering and Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company meets performance, legal, and environmental standards.

Job role: Quality Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Milton Keynes (office-based)

Hours: Monday - Friday

Overview of duties

* Oversee the maintenance and management of quality, health & safety, and environmental systems to ensure compliance across the business.

* Develop and implement ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, ensuring successful accreditation.

* Review and improve existing procedures to meet relevant ISO standards and legal requirements.

* Conduct internal audits and support external supplier audits to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

* Manage quality investigations and monitor staff adherence to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

* Prepare and submit performance data reports, ensuring continuous improvement in quality, health & safety, and environmental impact.

* Ensure proper maintenance, inspection, and compliance for equipment, tools, and chemicals (COSHH).

* Support commercial teams by preparing high-quality documentation and ensuring compliance with tender and contract requirements.

* Promote Lean Manufacturing and assist with expanding 5S principles throughout the factory.

Required experience

* A minimum NEBOSH qualification or significant experience in quality, health & safety, and environmental management.

* Proven experience managing ISO systems, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

* Ability to write detailed reports and maintain attention to detail across multiple tasks.
