Refrigeration Engineer - IND1

TXM Recruit are partnered with one of the leading and fastest growing retail maintenance companies supporting them with the recruitment of a new Refrigeration Engineer to join their maintenance department in Reading

As a refrigeration engineer your duties will be, but not limited to:

* Completing PPMs to the planned schedule as well as reactive fixes to an effective standard.

* This may include, Gas or Water leaks, Frozen cabinets, Fridges which have frozen over or general fault finding. Fault Finding, Diagnosis, Maintenance & Commissioning on a variety of HVAC.

* Deliver high quality work across the stores and shops.

* Become self-managed whilst efficiently prioritizing reactive breakdown or repair work over dedicated stores within the patch.

Requirements:

* NVQ or C&G in Refrigeration

* F-Gas 2079 qualification

* Understanding of supermarket equipment

The starting salary for the refrigeration engineer be £42,691.11 per year based on a 40-hour week. - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.45pm.

On-call Standby £65, min call out 4hrs (1.5x). works on a 4 week rotating schedule. (during May-Sept its 7 days standby, during Oct-Apr its weekends only standby) - Additional £3k per year.

Overtime is there but not overly frequent, OTE an additional 3/4k per year
