Overview
Highly successful SME business services company require ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified Finance Director for a highly challenging position based at conveniently situated offices in Woking, Surrey.
About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO and COO the Finance Director will be responsible for the management of the head office finance team, development of company financial strategy and will act as finance business partner regarding all key financial decisions within the business. Key duties include:
- Responsible for all aspects of company financial strategy and the formulation of the 5 year business plan
- International Statutory Accounting and liaison with company auditors in the UK and overseas
- Key involvement in the business tender process, providing supporting analysis and aiding negotiations for new contracts
- Finance business partner to the board of directors to ensure awareness of the financial implications of all key business decisions
- Management of a finance team of 4
- Completion of the annual budget and attending budget review meetings
- Overseeing the management accounting function
- Responsible for Foreign currency & FX hedging strategy
- Raising company capital and managing relationships with banks & financial institutions
- Seeking corporate investment partners and investment modelling
- Monthly board reporting and presentation at board meetings
- Completion of due diligence regarding future M & A activity
- Cashflow forecasting and reporting
- International tax planning
- Champion for the company ERP system
About you
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified you will have a proven track record formulating strategy as the Finance Director within an SME organisation.
- The successful candidate will have experience putting together bids and negotiating contracts within the business services sector
- In addition you will have gained experience raising company finance to support expansion and working on corporate M& A
- Experience within an international company environment with overseas subsidiaries is highly advantageous
