We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machinery to fabricate and assemble high-quality sheet metal components. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure precision and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities

* Operate laser cutting machines to fabricate sheet metal parts according to specifications.

* Assemble components using hand tools and mechanical equipment.

* Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.

* Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process.

* Maintain and troubleshoot machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.

* Grind and weld components as necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

* Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Requirements

* Proven experience in operating laser cutting machinery or similar equipment is preferred.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand tooling and assembly processes.

* Proficiency in using hand tools and performing basic welding tasks.

* Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques is advantageous.
