This is a rare opportunity for a Computing specialist to join our middle leader team. Your new role

• The leadership and management of aspects of the teaching of Computing within the overall educational aims of the school.
• Maintaining the highest possible quality in teaching and learning in the faculty
• To manage all departmental resources to maximise learning and achievement.
• To contribute to the wider leadership and management within the school.
• To plan and evaluate lesson content, delivery strategies, differentiation and use of resources

What you'll need to succeed

• A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• A relevant degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience of teaching computer science up to A level
• A strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java etc.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
• An Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
