Male Care Assistant - South East London

Job Description:

As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. You will provide high-quality personal care and support, promoting independence and dignity at all times. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Supporting residents with mobility and physical exercises.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Monitoring and recording health-related information.
• Assisting with medication administration.
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Responding promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions.

What We Offer:

• Hourly Rate: £12 to £13
• Paid Breaks
• Contracted Hours: 20 to 30 per week

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential.
• A compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
