Trainee Investment Compliance and Risk Analyst

A brand new opening has been created for a Trainee Investment Compliance and Risk Analyst to join a growing team who have doubled in size over the last 2 years.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those individuals who are keen to progress their careers within the financial services sector and full training will be provided.

We are keen to hear from individuals who already have around 1-2 years exposure in this sector and who are ready to develop their skills and experiences further with a highly reputable business in their field.

Ideally you will be local to the office based in Peterborough, however we are certainly open to hearing from candidates further afield and can offer hybrid working.

This position would be suited to you if you are highly numerate and analytically minded, possessing excellent communication skills with confidence to liaise with stakeholders.

As an Investment Compliance and Risk Analyst. You role will be varied and will see you being trained in the following tasks

• Liaising with Investment Managers and Operational teams regarding any errors arising, in order to record and reduce the number of the recurrence of breaches
• Preparing monthly KPI data for error trends
• Assisting with investment risk compliance oversights
• Providing ad-hoc support with UK-GDPR compliance through data protection policies, systems and procedures, incident monitoring and reporting
