As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a vital part in the company's development, transitioning drawings from AutoCAD to EPLAN, whilst collaborating closely with the Automation Department.

⦁ Assisting with the transition of drawing from AutoCAD to EPLAN, collaborating with the Automation Department to establish drawing standards and working methods
⦁ Generating electrical drawings and panel layouts, along with supporting electrical documentation such as Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, and Terminal Rail Layouts
⦁ Ensuring prompt updates of all electrical drawings throughout the project lifecycle and sharing with all relevant departments
⦁ Maintaining a database of preferred electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project
Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
⦁ In-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and ideally Pro Panel 3D is highly advantageous, however, we are open to other electrical CAD experience and will train on Eplan - packages might include AutoCAD Electrical, SEE Electrical or SolidWorks
⦁ A formal Electrical Engineering Qualification - Apprenticeship/HNC/HND/Degree
⦁ A systematic approach to work with high attention to detail
⦁ The ability to work effectively with people across departments and shop floor
⦁ Experience in a project environment in cross-functional project teams would be beneficial.
