About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive primary school in the heart of Chiswick. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and keen to make a difference in children's lives. Whether you're an experienced TA or a recent graduate with a love for learning, we'd love to hear from you!

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and school leadership to support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development. You'll be expected to assist in the delivery of engaging lessons, manage small group interventions, and offer one-to-one support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.

Provide targeted support to pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Assist with planning and preparing learning materials and classroom resources.

Lead small group activities and learning interventions to reinforce learning objectives.

Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers as appropriate.

Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Support children with their emotional wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour.

Supervise pupils during break times, school trips, and enrichment activities.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has previous experience working with children (school-based experience is highly desirable).

Is passionate about education and supporting young learners.

Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude.

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is organised, reliable, and able to work well within a team.

Understands safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.

(Desirable) Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

(Desirable) Is considering a future career in teaching or education.
