Experienced and qualified Paint Technician required on a contract position between 3 - 6 months based in Kenilworth paying £28.76 per hour (Umbrella PAYE) on a day shift with free parking available onsite. .

The role will require you to use a broad range of paint and finishing skills including preparation, spray painting, tinting, and colouring.

The ideal person will be experienced in using water-based systems and competent in spraying techniques on a variety of materials.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Preparation of panels
Colour matching and mixing.
Using various spraying techniques
Application of basecoats, primers, lacquers, and finishes
Blending of paint
Blow ins and smart repairs.
Flattening and polishing using specialist methods
Experience of working with a variety of systems including.

Solid and two-pack
Metallics
Pearlescent
Matte finishes
Special colours
Experience of working with prototype and high-end cars is desirable.
Working to strict health and safety standards using the required PPE
Working in a clean and tidy work manner

The Ideal Technician:

A City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in an automotive/body discipline completed as part of an apprenticeship is required.
At least 3 years high-end bodywork experience
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge and practical understanding of H&S, C.O.S.H. H, and environmental procedures
Flexibility in working hours and location as per business needs.
WORKING HOURS:

37 hours per week on a day shift (Overtime as per business needs, this is not guaranteed)

Pay Rate: £28.76 per hour to be paid via Umbrella PAYE model.

A flexible attitude towards working hours is essential.

Please Note: This role is Inside of IR35. Limited Company contractors will not be considered.

The final Umbrella pay rate offered is inclusive of, Hourly pay rate, Holiday pay and Apex Recruitment's contribution to the payroll administrator's deductions
