Recruitment - Senior Carers

2x full-time (28hrs)

Experienced Senior Carers required to work in a unique position within a small Religious Community based in Colchester - The Canonesses of The Holy Sepulchre.

We are looking for individuals that are warm-hearted, professional, compassionate and committed to having a person-centred approach to providing care and support where needed.

Shift pattern: 07.00hrs-14.00hrs

14.00hrs-21.00hrs

Some flexibility may be required

Job specification:

• Direct and assist with personal hygiene + continence needs
• Knowledge of nutrition and hydration
• Medication management
• Ability to write care plans and assessments
• Good communication skills
• IT literate
• Ability to remain calm in a stressful situation and take the initiative
• Confident

Required:

• NVQ 3 qualification or current Senior carer position is essential
• Two references, professional certificates, right to work and DBS checks are required.

Professional references are required, not relatives

• Up-to-date training certificates are desirable, however mandatory training will be provided
• Free uniform
• Rate of pay: £13.50ph
