We have a fantastic opportunity for a Safeguarding & Prevent Officer to join our Safeguarding Team, based at our Aylesbury campus. We are seeking to recruit an experienced, and well qualified member to our team who will have the student aspirations and wellbeing at the heart of their vision. This post is for 37 hours a week Term Time Only.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide comprehensive information, advice and guidance to staff, students and other members of the college community as one of the College designated Safeguarding Officers.
- Manage and lead the student referral process for multi-agency safeguarding and Prevent concerns.
- Maintain and develop further links with key support agencies in the local community.
- Encourage good practice and support of procedures to protect children and vulnerable adults.
- To be the first point of contact for all Safeguarding and Prevent concerns for off-site provision to include Apprentices and Traineeships.
