Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner in London on a full time permanent basis with a large membership body. This Finance Business Partner role is paying up to £55,000 per annum.

The Finance Business Partner will be a hands-on, enthusiastic, and driven individual who has good experience in Finance Business Partnering. With dynamic improvements being made across the organisation this is a fantastic role for those who want to be part of building something special and being an integral part of the finance team.

Main Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:

• Provide financial support and challenge to internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives and long-term plans. Prepare financial KPIs, discuss management reports with budget holders, and support in creating business plans.
• Prepare and post month-end journals.
• Assist with the monthly consolidated management accounts and other financial reports for the organisation.
• Conduct thorough analysis to ensure precise and dependable budget submissions. Regularly complete management account forecasts to evaluate business performance.
• Conduct monthly reviews and analyses of all balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Post transactions and reconcile inter company accounts.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and addressing queries. Offer finance system admin support, resolve user issues, identify process improvements for the organisation, and provide administrative support for Trustee committee meetings and other formal reviews.

Person Specification of the Finance Business Partner:

• Hold a relevant degree or professional qualification from recognised accountancy bodies (e.g., CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Have experience in translating complex financial information to external and internal non-financial personnel.
• Demonstrable communication n skills with the ability to influence, teach and interpret various stakeholders.
• Exhibit an understanding of risks and utilise financial and business intelligence for risk management and mitigation.
• Attention to detail through disciplined work.
• Display confidence in independent work while also being collaborative and proactive.
