Freight & Shipping Operations Manager Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our bespoke freight and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the marine or shipping industry, with expertise in yacht transport, out-of-gauge cargo, project cargo, and break bulk.
Must have high levels of experience with sea freight exports and cross trade shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our bespoke freight and shipping logistics, ensuring smooth and efficient cargo movements.
Manage a tea, in a customs clearing environment
Manage full income statement owner ships
Financial and operational responsibilities for the branch.
Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to maximise their potential.
Manage customer relations and foster strong partnerships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise processes and drive business growth.
Stay commercially astute, identifying opportunities for revenue generation and cost savings within the operations.Benefits:
