Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled Shop Floor Team are delighted to be working in partnership with a manufacturing business based within the Rotherham area.

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team at this exciting time of expansion.

SALARY: up to £35,000

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:00

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set and operate Fanuc controlled CNC turning machines
Work to customer specifications with minimal supervision once trained.

Maintain high quality while working to tight tolerances, taking responsibility for you own work.
Use initiative to understand and follow the manufacturing process.
Report tooling requirements to your immediate supervisor. 
Maintain a clean and organised working area.
Take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks related to your role, and control or report them to management as appropriate.
Identify hazards effectively. 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience as a CNC operator
Proficient in using hand tools, mills and other machinery
Understanding of tooling operations
Strong attention to detail and precision
Engineering based qualification or time served
