Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a finance organisation with offices based in Manchester City Centre & Ellesmere Port. This role will be working between both offices; therefore, applicants must be able to attend both sites. Please note this role is fully office based and there is free parking at the Ellesmere Port office
The day-to-day duties for this role are:* Chasing debt with existing clients via phone, emails and letters and understanding their business and needs* Managing your own portfolio of clients* Assisting with month end data reporting* Agreeing repayment plans where appropriate* Chasing remittances for cash allocation* Building relationships with clients and updating regularly* Adding new client details to the internal system* Escalate any issues to management and recommend accounts to solicitors * Any other tasks as required
We'd love to speak to candidates with:* Previous experience in a credit control role* Good IT skills including MS Office and ability to learn and use CRMs* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written* The ability to build rapport with customers* Ability to deal with a varied and busy workload* Fantastic attention to detail
