Our client is major global property consultancy that is looking to expand their leisure and hospitality team. Arguably the market leaders in their field, this team focus on purely leisure and trading valuations however do offer opportunities into the wider consultancy services such as L&T and Agency. As a key member of this team your role involves providing comprehensive valuation services for businesses and going concern properties.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Your primary responsibility is to conduct valuations of businesses and properties within the Hospitality sector. This involves analysing financial statements, market trends, and other relevant data to determine the fair market value of these assets.

You will focus on building strong relationships with major clients, banks, investors, accountants, and operators as this is essentual. The interesting part of this role is you will have access to develop the wider service offering with Private Equity Groups who own the major operators throughout the UK. You'll need to understand their needs, communicate effectively, and provide tailored valuation solutions to meet their requirements. In your role you will stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting the hospitality and leisure sector in the UK.

You will be partnering closely with other members of the valuation team who may have expertise in finance, real estate, or specific subsectors within the Hospitality industry. Collaborative efforts will enhance the quality of valuations and provide clients with comprehensive insights.

Valuation Methodologies: Utilize a range of valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions to determine fair market value. Tailor these methodologies based on the unique characteristics of each asset and prevailing market conditions.

You'll contribute to the success of the valuation team and provide valuable insights to clients in the Hospitality sector across the UK.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

* Relevant Real Estate Degree

* RICS Chartered Status

* A minimum 2 years post-qualification experience

* Knowledge of the OPRE markets ideally with some experience in this, however training can be given
