Contract Opportunity: Assistant Accountant
Location: London (Hybrid)

Day Rate: Up to £165 per day Outside IR35
Contract Length: 3 months

I'm working with a fast-growing business services company looking for a contract Assistant Accountant to support their finance function, with a focus on Accounts Payable.

You'll be part of a collaborative finance team, handling invoice processing, purchase orders, credit card spend, and month-end responsibilities. It's a great opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail who's looking to gain exposure across a busy finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and match against purchase orders
• Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and resolve queries
• Support the PO process and track approvals
• Record company credit card spend
• Process month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Handle employee expenses
• Support monthly P&L reviews and variance analysis
• Work closely with Finance Business Partners on forecasting
