Our client is looking to expand their team and bring on a Travel Consultant in to the role of a Tour Specialist. The job involves booking the travel for musicians and production staff as they travel the world performing in venues ranging in size.

As a Tour Specialist you’ll be supporting the Senior Tour Specialists working within this niche market. You’ll start with booking more straightforward itineraries (flights, hotels, car hire etc) as well as assisting with administrative support.

Your days will include:

  • Booking travel on the GDS system (Galileo)

  • Negotiating group rates with airlines and hotels if necessary

  • Offering alternatives to your client when their preferred choice or airline or hotel isn’t available or within budget

  • Working quickly and efficiently within a team of travel consultants

  • Completing online check-ins for your clients, loading information on to the system, ensuring all travel documentation is up to date and other admin duties.

To be considered for the role of Tour Specialist we’re looking for the following on your CV:

  • Some experience in the travel sector or media/production/music industries.

  • Basic knowledge of a GDS system and airline bookings

  • Able to work Monday -Friday, 10am-6pm as your core hours

  • In close proximity to London to be able to come into the office a couple of days a week.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable in a fast paced environment (think quick response times to client requests, sometimes with very little time to sort out any issues) and with a some relatable travel industry experience.
