Now Hiring: Time-Served Platers - RipleyMy client based in Ripley, Derbyshire are seeking experienced Platers to join our Fabrication Team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working in our purpose-built fabrication shop, you'll be involved in producing bespoke fabrications for industries such as nuclear, sub-sea, aerospace, MOD, and process engineering.The Role:Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawingsMarking out, cutting, and preparing materials for fabricationProducing weld preps, drilling, and tack welding into complete assembliesWorking independently and using your own initiativeOccasional work at customer sites when requiredEnsuring high-quality standards across a range of materials and thicknessesWhat We're Looking For:Time-served Plater/Fabricator with a minimum of 3 years' experience (preferred)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong understanding of engineering drawingsWillingness to work overtime when required (paid at 1.5x rate)Ability to commute to Ripley, DE5 3ND or relocate before startingWorking Hours & Pay:Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30Friday: 07:30 - 12:30Pay: £16.80 - £19.00 per hourOvertime available at 1.5x pay, including weekendsBenefits:33 days holiday (including statutory)Company pensionLife insuranceSick payFree on-site parkingReferral programmeThis is a permanent role with long-term career opportunities.
