CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES 03:00 - 07:00

OR

MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES 14:00 - 18:30

PAY RATE: £17.00 - £20.00 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Store deliveries or mainly caged goods, which can include handball.
 Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
 Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
 Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
 Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
 Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
 Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
 Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
 Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving Category C vehicles
 No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
 Have a valid CPC Card & Digi Card
 Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
 Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
 Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
 Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
 Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training 

Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
