Shipping Administrator - up to £25,000 per annum - Permanent - Maldon

Due to growth, our client are looking to expand their imports team and are seeking an experienced Administrator who is looking to begin their career within logistics/freight forwarding. The ideal applicant will have a basic understanding of logistics/incoterms/transport and will have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

Duties:

Managing LCL import bookings

Liaising with internal sales department regarding bookings

Liaising with the origin office to organise bookings

Providing all required details to origin office as required to ensure smooth movement of goods

Keeping customer fully updated on the booking and coordinating any required information/documentation for the movement of goods

Updating internal system with any changes to the booking

Skills:

Excellent communication skills

Confident user of PC

Previous experience in an administrative position

An understanding of incoterms would be beneficial

Additional information:

Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays

Up to £25,000 per annum

Permanent position
