Role:
As an Outbound Telesales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for our IT MSP company. You will create your own prospect lists and build a database of businesses to phone that fit into our ideal customer portfolio. This is purely a cold calling role that requires hard work, persistence, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and the sales team to achieve your targets and grow our customer base. You will also have the opportunity to progress within the company and develop your sales skills and knowledge.

Summary

- A key focus for new business leads will be aligned with one of our Cyber Security Vendors.
- Attending events and webinars.
Core Responsibilities
- Research and identify owners/decision makers of potential prospects that match our target client profiles.
- Make outbound cold calls to create a pipeline of prospects and introduce our company and services.
- Determining if the prospect has a valid need for the company’s products and services
- Progress cold calls into qualified leads and book appointments for the sales team.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain a record of all contacts and outcomes.
- Update and manage the CRM system with accurate and relevant information on all prospects.
- Meet and exceed your monthly targets for calls, leads, and appointments.
- Provide status information to your Manager including forecast/pipeline information.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the cold calling process and strategy.
- Continual improvement with training from Vendor/s.
- Be involved with, and undertake any other duties as requested or required.
