Description

As a Capital Accountant you will be responsible for :

• Managing and leading staff to achieve high performance and effective operational delivery, including developing and improving staff capability.
• Ensuring a systematic approach to financial control alongside the modernisation and streamlining of all processes.
• Lead on statutory financial reporting, ensuring annual accounts and government returns are completed on time.
• Appoint and manage financial advisors on specific projects.

Profile

Having worked in a Local Authority within Capital or Housing will be ideal along with holding a full accounting qualification. This is an interim position so candidates will need to be available on short notice or immediate.

Job Offer

£500 a day, 3 months with a view to extend and hybrid working.
