Job Duties:

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC equipment
Provide technical advice and support to customers
Keep accurate records of work carried out

Required Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications in air conditioning and refrigeration
Valid F-Gas Certification
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Strong problem-solving skills

Education:

Completion of a formal apprenticeship or vocational training in air conditioning engineering

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical condition for manual handling tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in HVAC systems
Experience working with commercial HVAC units

Working Conditions:

This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, depending on the location of the air conditioning systems
