We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a School Site Facilities Manager who has experience in a facilities management or similar role, good supervisory and leadership skills and the know-how to assess and carry out minor repairs and maintenance.
As the School Site Facilities Manager you will manage diverse responsibilities, from coordinating maintenance schedules and managing compliance contracts to ensuring high standards in health and safety, cleaning and lettings.
Working as the School Site Facilities Manager your excellent organisational skills and commitment to excellence will help you play a key role in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors alike.
DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the will include:
- To be responsible for a regular schedule of inspections throughout the buildings, and action plans for modifications and improvements. Alerting the Principal to any work that needs to be undertaken or any issues where health and safety is at risk
- Manage and assist with all deliveries to the school, ensuring the proper storage and distribution of all goods
- Oversee the work contractors to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and in line with policy
- Identify areas for improvement and develop and implement plans to improve the quality of facilities across the school site
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a facilities management or similar role
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to apply basic ICT skills to the needs of the job
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people
