Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and Innovate:

Spearhead the delivery of a top-tier lettings, allocations, and void management service.
Ensure our services consistently meet organisational goals, vision, and statutory obligations.2. Fair and Equitable Housing Allocation:

Oversee the fair allocation of secure Council housing, nominations to Registered Providers, and mobility schemes.
Provide comprehensive advice and information on the assessment of needs for sheltered and adapted housing.3. Policy and Procedure Development:

Develop, implement, and manage policies and procedures for allocations, voids, and lettings.
Utilize business intelligence and transformation to enhance and streamline processes.
Set and monitor performance targets to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.4. Budget Management:

Take charge of budget management for the Allocations and Lettings Service.
Forecast and monitor budgetary projections to ensure services are delivered within budget.
Produce regular budget monitoring reports.5. Leadership Support:

Act as a deputy for the Head of Allocations & Lettings when necessary.
