As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our grounds maintenance operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading a team of grounds maintenance operatives in performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and debris removal.
Providing guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure high-quality work and adherence to Health & Safety protocols.
Planning and organizing daily work assignments, prioritising tasks, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Conducting regular inspections of grounds to identify extra maintenance works and address any client issues promptly.
Monitoring stock levels of tools, and supplies in your vehicle, working with your Contract Manager as appropriate.
Promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and fostering a positive work environment for all team members.
Winter gritting and snow clearance will also perform part of this role.What we're looking for:

Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
A commitment to Health and safety whilst able to adhere to company policies and procedures.
Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to changing priorities.
A passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
