Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated 3.5T refuse driver to join our team in the waste management industry.

• £12.00
• 06:30 - 14:30.
• Any 5 days a week available.

To lead a team, responsible for collecting Refuse and Recycling and other waste service duties, according to management instruction and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently - in accordance with guidelines and customer expectation.

Duties of a 3.5T refuse driver:

• Responsible for using the most efficient, safe and effective route and collection locations for loaders to collect refuse.

• Undertaking collection duties (e.g. emptying bins/boxes/ bags, operating machinery, acting as a safe reversing assistant) and other related duties in the waste and recycling service.

• Must demonstrate commitment to delivering high quality service and have a positive approach to completing the daily schedules.

• Physically demanding - involves handling heavy loads and walking long distances.

• Must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.

• To maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly members of the public.

• Safe operation of the vehicle and other equipment on the vehicle, following safe working practices.

• Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
