Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant for a long established and successful business in Doncaster.

They have an excellent benefits package and also offer hybrid working with you only having to go into the office 3 days each week.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the main purpose of the role is to prepare and present financial information to various stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Production of management accounts in accordance with monthly timetables

- Preparation of necessary journals

- Provide business partnering support to departmental managers to understand financial results and drive business

- Review and ownership of nominal ledger

- Support with the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts

- Variance analysis

- Developing new and existing processes

- Monitor actual and forecast cash flows

- Develop and maintain the group Fixed Asset Register

- Capex Reporting.

- VAT returns

- Support the year-end accounts preparation and audit processes

- Ad-hoc project support

Key skills / qualifications:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), Finalist, or qualified by experience

- Strong technical accounting skills

- Desire to develop and progress within a business

- Strong communication skills
