Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

We are a small, specialised electrical business seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Manager to oversee our production operations. This is a hands-on role, suitable for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys optimising production processes while managing a small, close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Production Oversight: Plan, coordinate and manage all production activities to ensure efficiency, quality and timely delivery of products.

* Team Management: Lead, motivate and support production staff, ensuring high performance and compliance with company policies.

* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance production processes and implement cost-effective solutions.

* Resource Allocation: Manage resources, including materials, equipment and labour to meet production schedules.

* Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

* Health and Safety: Ensure all production activities adhere to health and safety guidelines.

* Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and KPIs to senior management.

Essential:

* Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the electrical or manufacturing sector is essential.

* Strong organisational and leadership skills.

* Ability to analyse and optimise processes for improved efficiency.

* Familiarity with production planning and quality control principles.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable:

* Experience with specialised or custom electrical production.

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

* Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
