Thai Sous Chef – Beaconsfield

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Sous Chef who has a background in Thai cuisine for our unique hotel and restaurant in Beaconsfield.

Sous Chef Role:

• Working closely with our Head Chef to deliver the highest standard of service and food
• Ensuring that the kitchen team is legally compliant, meeting the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Maintaining good levels of organisation and prep levels appropriate to service
• Helping to manage our costs and controls.
• Responsibility for your own sections
• Following recipe and presentation requirements with outstanding knowledge of our ingredients and menu specifications; delivering beautifully presented dishes to the Crazy Bear standard

We are looking for:

• Individuals with five years or more relevant experience in a similar position of at least equivalent status to a Sous Chef position
• Lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation that align with Michelin aspirations
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices
• Oversee kitchen operations during busy service, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, and wastage to maintain efficiency and profitability
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and an unforgettable dining experience
• Adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
