Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pmProspero are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant to work with a school in the Rochdale. The strongest applicant will have confidence in Mathematics and English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting with Instruction: Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and activities. Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Preparing Materials: Helping to prepare lesson materials, resources, and displays. Setting up and tidying up the classroom before and after activities.
Supporting Students: Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to develop social skills.
Administrative Tasks: Assisting with record-keeping, such as tracking student progress and attendance. Helping to organise and manage classroom resources and supplies.EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
Previous experience working with young people.
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
