ManagementAccounts Assistant to join their team on
a full-time basis, based in Banbury. The ideal candidate would have previous experience assisting with Managed Accounts and Journal entries. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company that can provide further professional growth and guidance.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and draft monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Carry out variance analysis, comparing actual performance to budgets and forecasts, while identifying key trends and insights.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including tracking acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Support budgeting and forecasting alongside the Management Accountant.
- Provide cover for Purchase Ledger and Accounts Assistant roles during absences, including invoice processing and payment runs.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes, using tools such as Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and accounting software (SAP).
Key Skills & Experience: - Previous experience in preparing or assisting with management accounts.
- Previous experience with fixed asset management and reconciliations.
- Assisted with budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Familiarity with month-end processes and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar accounting software.
Additional Information: - Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, on-site, Flexibility for school hours.
