Job Title: Respiratory Physiologist (Band 7)Location: Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester University NHS Foundation TrustContract: Full-time (ASAP - 19th November 2024)Hours: Monday to Friday, between 08:00 - 18:00

• Independently perform all routine lung function laboratory techniques, including:
  • Spirometry
  • Lung volumes
  • TLco (Transfer Factor of the Lung for Carbon Monoxide)
  • Plethysmography
  • Reversibility testing
• Conduct complex procedures unsupervised, such as:
  • Histamine challenge
  • Cardiopulmonary exercise testing
  • Respiratory muscle assessment
  • Fitness to fly assessment
  • Long-term oxygen assessment
  • Allergen skin prick testing

• Previous hospital experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong clinical skills in respiratory physiology techniques
