W Talent are now supporting a manufacturing company located in South Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team. This position will be working Days based, Monday to Friday, with some flexible working. Key Responsibilities

As the Quality Manager you will report to the Operations Manager, with your primary focus being the management of all daily procedures with the target of improving overall quality standards. You will collaborate with the senior management team and a range of customers working on new and existing products. To apply of this exciting vacancy you will ideally be a Quality Engineer who is now looking to progress into a Quality Manager position.

Key Duties

  • Establish and maintain quality standards across the manufacturing site in South Yorkshire.
  • Conduct internal and external audits and ensure adherence to specifications and requirements.
  • Manage and maintain quality management systems and documentation to ensure full compliance.
  • Read and check engineering drawings, specifications, and quality records ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Investigate quality issues and non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Additionally, to the above you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the production and delivery processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum HNC/HND in an engineering or quality assurance discipline
  • Proven experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems including ISO 9001.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Experience with root cause analysis techniques and corrective action implementation.

Location and Benefits:

This position will be working days based with a salary between £35,000 and £45,000 with clear opportunities for career development.
